Meet Dr. Rush Carr
Dr. Rush Carr was born, raised and homeschooled right here in Southwest Missouri, where he serves the community today.
His journey to holistic chiropractic care started when he received his undergraduate degree in Kinesiology right here in Joplin at MSSU! He then went on to receive his Masters in Health and Human Performance at Pittsburg State University in Kansas, and then proceeded to get his Doctorate of Chiropractic at Cleveland Chiropractic University in Kansas City, MO.
Dr. Carr always knew he wanted to work in healthcare and help others but wasn’t sure which path to take. In his final semester of his master’s program, a weightlifting injury led him to visit a chiropractor for the first time in early 2018. The experience was transformative—by fall of that year, he was enrolled in chiropractic school. From the start of this journey, he felt called to serve the younger population, aiming to help children begin life with the best possible foundation for long-term health.
Fast forward to now, he's opened his very own practice, Restore Functional Neurology, out of his deep passion for a holistic and patient-centered approach to wellness, creating a space where comprehensive care and compassion meet.
When he's not working, Rush likes to spend his time with his beloved wife and two young children, who you can imagine experience the benefits of their father's pediatric expertise.
How can Dr. Carr Help?
Dr. Carr is Webster Technique certified in Prenatal Care as well as being certified in SOT Pediatric Care. He is a part of the Academy of Midwest Chiropractors as well as being a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA). You're in good hands here!

We do not accept insurance, allowing us to provide adequate care without third-party limitations. We have found that families who invest directly in their child’s care often see better results.
However, we do accept CareCredit! This is a financing option that helps you pay out of pocket costs with 0% interest as long as it is paid within the chosen promotional period. (6 or 12 months)
